Houston TexansThe ATS MOV is a dreadful 11-17 ATS through week 12. This weekend, there are a couple of games that this strategy believes is worthy of consideration for investment.

This week, we’re using the last three games home or away for each team to determine their ATS margin. For example, if a team is playing on the road, we’re using the ATS results of their last three road games to determine their ATS margin.

The first recommendation is Houston pk at Jacksonville. The Texans are averaging an ATS margin of 13 points on the road while the Jaguars are averaging -5 at home. Given the wide margin between the two averages against the point spread and the line at pick’em, Houston is very attractive. Since 2006, the Texans are 4-3 SU and 5-2 ATS vs. the Jaguars.

Next, the ATS MOV believes that you should consider Tampa Bay +6.5 at Carolina. The Buccaneers have an ATS margin of +4.5 on the road while the Panthers average -6 at home. Carolina is giving away the same amount as their ATS margin at home. Whenever we see a team averaging positive numbers getting points against a team averaging negative numbers, it peaks our interest. The Bucs are 3-4 SU at Carolina since 2000 so there are signs that they can compete against the Panthers on the road. Additionally, Carolina will be starting Matt Moore at QB this weekend and the Bucs should capitalize on his inexperience.
